Service Objectives

To identify early and assist pre-primary children and their family members with welfare needs.

To support pre-primary personnel and enhance their knowledge and skills in identifying and assisting pre-primary children and their family members with welfare needs (e.g. pre-primary children deprived of proper parental care and supervision); and to facilitate more effective interface with other support services geared to the needs of children and their families; and
-
To enhance parents’ awareness and skills in effective parenting, and strengthen parent-child communication and relationship for the healthy development of the children.

Children, their parents and the school personnel of the pre-primary institutions served
Scopes of Service

To provide counselling and referral service for the children and families

To organize developmental, educational and therapeutic groups and programs

To provide professional consultations to families and personnel of pre-primary institutions

To deliver crisis intervention support for cases in needs
