Urban Hostel for Single Persons (with Overnight Accommodation Service)

Hostel Opening Hours: 

5:45 am – 12:30 am daily 

• Provide accommodation services to those in need for  a maximum period of six months to solve their short term housing difficulties.

• To assist lodgers in having a better planning a long-term accommodation for the future;

​

• To encourage lodgers to better use their spare time and face their life in a positive way;

​

• To promote mutual support among lodgers and to build a social network with harmony.

• Street sleepers, bedspace apartment lodgers and homeless persons, particularly the aged or those in disabled.

• 24-hour accommodation service (16 places for male and 26 places for female);

​

• Counselling service to assist lodgers in adapting to the hostel life and solving problems;

​

• Group and gathering activities to let lodgers explore their potential and build up friendship.

• Provides individually spaced single beds, personal lockers, bedside lamps, and fans. The hall and rooms are air-conditioned. There is hot and cold water supply and basic cooking facilities. The lobby can be used for socializing, gatherings and events and offers facilities such as TV and Wi-Fi.

• Monthly rent: HK$2,000; if there is an incomplete month of accommodation, rent will be charged based on the number days of accommodation at HK$65/day; a deposit of HK$1,000 will be imposed.

• Applicants can be referred by social workers of the Social Welfare Department or non-government organisations;

• Visits must be booked in advance.

Lodgers must give a notice to the hostel officer verbally or in writing 7 days prior to moving out.
