Service Objectives
-
To provide occupational therapy to people with disabilities so that they can overcome difficulties in their daily lives and develop their potential; to give training, treatment, demonstration and guidance to staff of the centres and carers so that people with disabilities can realise their ability to the fullest extent.

Scopes of Service

The following services are provided in response to various needs in different areas of people with disabilities, including daily living skills, communication skills, pre-employment or vocational skills, perceptual motor training and sensory integration, leisure activities, communal living skills and so on:

Clinical assessment；

Clinical diagnosis and treatment；

Prescription and training on the use of rehabilitation devices/equipment;

Recommendations on environmental design and alteration;

Organise educational and training activities or education courses for staff and care-givers.

Application Procedures

Social workers of our Council will initially assess the case and seek the consent from the family of the service users (if applicable) for making referrals.
Withdrawal Procedures
-
Apply to the centre directly, or discuss with occupational therapists and social workers to arrange withdrawal from the service.
