Home Care and Support Services
Our Council began providing home helper services in 1994, and by 1997, seven service teams had expanded to cover four districts: Wong Tai Sin, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, and Sham Shui Po. Our Home Care Services have consistently aligned government service policies, providing a variety of home care and support services, passing through Home Helper Services, Integrated Home Care Services, and Pilot Scheme on Home Care and Support for Elderly Persons with Mild Impairment for the previous three decades. We strive to implement the principles of " Ageing in Place " and "Continuous Care" by providing diverse home care and support to the elderly, people with disabilities, and Individuals and Families with Social Need.
Starting from 1st October, 2024, the "Integrated Home Care Services (Ordinary Cases)" and the "Home Care and Support Service for Elderly Persons with Mild Impairments" have been integrated into the "Home Support Service". Building on the existing home care services, elements of physical and mental health management will be strengthened to support service users maintain optimal autonomy in community living.
